The castle appears to be very new, despite being around for centuries. The only way you can tell that it's old is if you look at the vines hanging loosely off the windows.
"Welcome, welcome, my students." Headmaster Melody says, a smile on her face. "Whether this is your first year here, or your last year, I welcome you to your home away from home." She pauses. "I would like to remind you of a few rules. Boys are not allowed in girls dormitories, and vice versa. Prefects, please lead the first years to their dorms, and everyone else go to the Mess Hall." She said, waving, as if to dismiss everyone.
