Two days later.

Sanyukta got a call from Parth's PA.

She was called for meeting to finalise the assignment.

Meeting went very well.

The assignment was signed by Sanyukta and a check was given to her by Parth.

"Mr. Kashyap...this is whole amount" She said looking at the amount filled into the cheque.

"I know..." He said

"But as per the clauses...only 50% is to be given right now and 50% after the assignment gets completed" She said

"It's fine..."
"You can have this..." Parth said

"Thanks.." She said

"Okay then...see you later" Sanyukta said and turn to go.

"Ms. Sanyukta..." Parth said to stop her.

"Yeah.." She turned back

"How about lunch today?" Parth asked

"Mr. Kashyap...Thank you"
"But I have to reach somewhere"
"I would not be able to join you for lunch"
"I am sorry" She said

"No. No its completely fine"
"I understand you have prior commitments"
"Now that we are working together...will arrange a lunch later on"
"That's absolutely fine" Parth said

"Sure.." She said

"I will be leaving for LA today in the evening"
"My assistant will be in touch with you"
"If you have questions...let her...or me know" Parth said

"Sure Mr. Kashyap"
"Thank you very much" Sanyukta said

"Bye..." Parth said

"Good bye" She said and left.

Parth was impressed with Sanyukta. He couldn't stop himself from thinking about her in loop.

Sanyukta came back home.

Amazingly, Anju was at home today.

"Mom...you home?" "What a surprise...?" Sanyukta said

"Yes, because I want to talk to you" Anju said

"Say..." She said folding her hands across her chest.

"What is this?" Anju showed a photograph of Randhir and her together in coffee shop in LA.

"Ohh..." "He is Randhir Shekhawat"
"I met him during the add shoot" "He was male model..." Sanyukta said

"What were you both doing in coffee shop then?" Anju asked

"Ohh god stop being a typical mother" "It was just a simple coffee date"
"Big deal?"
"He asked me out for a coffee date...and I went with him"
"And come on Mom I am not kid"
"I am grown up and I know what I am doing" "Stop this behaviour of yours" Sanyukta said

"Aaise hi kisi ke saath bhi coffee shop chali jaogi tum"
"Bina jaan pehchan ke" Anju said

"Mom...he is nice guy"
"He is honest..."
"He is definitely not like other males" Sanyukta said in defence of Randhir.

"Everyone fakes to be honest in the start"
"Then they show their true colours" Anju said

"For god sake Mom...please stop it"
"I understand your concern for me but..."
"Randhir is really a good person"
"It was just a casual meet up..." Sanyukta said

"Who is he to you?" Anju asked

"Just a friend" Sanyukta said

"and should be just friend only" Anju said

"You are impossible mom" "Seriously..." Sanyukta whined

"Yes, because I don't want things to get repeated with you" Anju said

"Every guy is not like my father, mom" Sanyukta said and left the place.

At Abhi's place.

"I understand you point and your Mom's point too"
"You both are right" Abhi said

"I know Abhi..."
"My mom is concerned about me"
"I know what all she has faced in life" "I really understand all..."
"But that doesn't mean I should restrict myself"
"I shouldn't meet people"
"I shouldn't make friends"
"I hardly have any friends Abhi..." "Just because of Mom...I never made any friends"
"Thinking...my mom will feel bad" "My mom comes with me to the photoshoots sometimes"
"Like seriously..."
"How odd it looks"
"How uncomfortable the people feel.." "Still I never say anything to her..." "She is a mother and I understand her actions"
"But..."
"I don't know where she saw my photo with Randhir" Sanyukta said

"Randhir...?" Abhi said

"Yeah, Randhir Singh Shekhawat" Sanyukta said

"You mean The Randhir Singh Shekhawat"
"The F1 car racer..." Abhi said

"Yes, he was my costar in add shoot" "He is famous sport personality" Sanyukta said

"Omg...you met him and went on coffee date with him" Abhi said

"Yeah, so..." Sanyukta said

"Heard a lot of things about him..." Abhi said

"I know right...but he is not like that" "He is really a nice guy"
"Funny too..."
"I enjoyed his company..." Sanyukta smiled while saying it

"Are you guys...?" "I mean..." Abhi said

"We are just friends okay..." Sanyukta said

"Yeah yeah..." Abhi teased her.

"No but genuinely is good person" "Most importantly, he didn't fake himself in front of me"
"Like you know this male models and actors do"
"He was himself..."
"I liked that about him"
"That's why I said yes to his black coffee date proposal" Sanyukta giggled

"Black coffee..." Abhi said

"Yeah..." Sanyukta laughed

"You went on a date with a guy..."
"I mean this...is surprising yet shocking" Abhi said

"I felt so...I should go"
"But dekha na tumne...how Mom reacted to it" Sanyukta said

"You like him?" Abhi asked Sanyukta directly

"What...?" Sanyukta said

"I think you like him..." Abhi said

"Rubbish...nothing like that"
"He is just a friend" Sanyukta looked away

"Friends can be liked too...." Abhi said

"You know...my mom on one side and you on other side"
"You both na....aaarrrrgggghhhh..." Sanyukta got up and avoided the topic

"Time has come Sanyukta..." Abhi said

"What time...?" Sanyukta turned back

"Time will tell...just wait and watch" Abhi said

"You and your...shayaris" Sanyukta rolled her eyes

"It's not shayaris darling..." "It's the fact..." Abhi winked
