"Kids these days are always on their phones" She sneered at her granddaughter who was checking her Snapchat. "They can't survive without their electronics."
The granddaughter looks up and smiles apologetically. "I'm sorry, Nana. I just had to check something real quick."
"I don't think you can go ten minutes without being on your phone." She pridefully says.
"How are you, Nana?"
"Oh I'm quite fine, although it's a little bright in here."
The young girl gets up and draws the shades.
"Oh thank you, dear."
"How are they treating you here, Nana?"
"The people here are absolutely wonderful; they're always looking out for me."
Nana goes on to talk about the staff and how kind they are. After a while the young lady gets up and walks to the outlet. She unplugs something and plugs in her phone. As she walks back to her seat her grandmother starts to breathe heavily then she can't breathe at all. But the machine does not sound.
The granddaughter whispers, "Let's see if you can go ten minutes..."
