I walked through the door, picking up the pile of blankets from the spare room that had been put away from the winter. Tyler laid down on the bed, playing on his phone, not noticing I'd even gone.

I walked back through into our bedroom, smirking as I threw the pile onto his legs making him jump. "What are you doing?"

"What does it look like I'm doing?" He sat up, kicking them off him onto the floor. I crossed my arms, huffing at him.

"What. They were annoying me?" I shook my head, picking everything back up into a pile, lifting them into my arms.

"I'll go and make my blanket fort alone then." I told him, walking out and down the stairs, into the dining room where the dining room chairs were.

"I'll come down and see your progress soon." As soon as I heard him say that I knew I had to impress him, making sure that everything looked perfect, and a lot more fun than Tyler thought I could.

I made it all up, finishing it off, laying in it until I heard Tyler walk down the stairs. "Wow. I'm impressed." I peered out, looking at him, beckoning him in to join me, which he did. "Maybe I was a bit hasty to ruin your fun," he smirked, wrapping his arm around me, kissing my lips softly.
