Maybe,
If I finally say the truth
It'll save me
And the sanity of my youthI wanted to end it
But didn't know how
So maybe I'll just leave
And take the scowl from your browBut here I am
With you one last time
And maybe if I'm lucky,
It won't be a crime.Our eyes click
And I think...
I saw a smile,
Making me not want to blinkIt made me realize
We were both wrong
"Could we... possibly
Replay our song?"There was no music
You knew what it meant
And that's when I knew,
Our time was almost spent"You know, we should."
I, Unknowing of what to say
Had taken it upon myself,
To think astrayI had so many questions
But they had to remain secrets
And knowing you,
I need to keep itWe stood up
Keep our state
What would happen next,
We weren't awareYou took me in
And hugged me tight
Being back in your arms
Felt so rightBut then I saw it
I looked in the mirror
The scar running down my face
All I felt now, the feeling of terrorI pushed away
I couldn't stand
But a few more words
Would be the End"We can't try
So don't wait,
Walk out the door,
It's your best trait."
