a deleted scene?

Hey so this isn't part of the story but I just found this in my Google docs. I wrote it a long time ago and meant to include it in the part when Dean and Cas are separated but I forgot. I'm kind of glad I forgot too because it made me kind of sad when I read it. Anyway, here's a sort of deleted scene.

The candlelight bounced around the room, highlighting Cas' body and making him look soft like an oil painting as he danced in the moonlight, bare feet on the green grass. Dean leaned on one arm and brought the other up, ushering Cas towards him. He moved with such grace, settling in to Deans chest. Planting soft kisses on his lips, ruffling his hair.

"I love you."

"I love you too, Dean. But you have to wake up now. It's time to rejoin the real world."

Dean slowly opened his eyes before choking out a sob.

"Cas! Come back! Come back. Please!" maybe if he shouted a little louder he would hear him. Like in the movies when the lovers were world's away but knew when the other was upset.

"Cas! CAS!" he picked up one of the many empty bottles of beer that littered the floor, throwing it at the wall in frustration. Watching as it shattered and fell to the floor. He sank to his knees and buried his face in his hands. None of it was fair. He sat and let the tears fall. How had he let any of this happen? Then he felt a gentle hand on his shoulder and a cautious voice.

"Dean."

"Cas?!" he looked up quickly in desperation but tears filled his eyes again at the sight of Sam. "..oh." he whispered.

"I made breakfast." Sam knelt down beside him and offered a cup of water.

"I'm not hungry." he pouted but accepted the water.

"Dean this has to stop. It's become a daily thing and you need to clean yourself up. It's been two years. (Side note: originally I was going to have it be two years instead of one) Let me help you." Sam surely didn't mean to offend him. Dean knew he meant well and wanted to help but every word Sam spoke angered him further. There was a silence before Dean lost his temper. And he couldn't control it as his fist acted on it's own accord and punched Sam right under the eye.

"HELP?! UNTIL YOU LOSE SOMEONE YOU HAVE A CLOSE CONNECTION TO, SOMEONE WHO YOU FEEL UNDERSTANDS YOU COMPLETELY. SOMEONE YOU FEEL INSEPARABLE FROM?! DON'T COME TO ME TALKING ABOUT HELP!"

Tears were already forming in Sam's eyes as he held his face.

"I already have lost someone." he whispered and stalked out of the room. And that was enough. It was enough for Dean to realize he fucked up. He'd turned in to his father. A depressed, angry, drunk asshole.

"No." he whispered to himself. He would fix this. He had to. He walked to Sam's room but the door was locked.

"Sammy." he spoke softly.

"Go away."

"Okay. But first I want to let you know that I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry, Sammy. Im going to change. For you. And for him."

There wasn't a sound apart from a light sniffle on the other side of the door.

"I'm going to change." he whispered, more to himself than anyone and walked to the kitchen. He got a trash bag and a broom before going back to his room. He swept up the broken bottles and threw away the rest. He cleaned and didn't stop cleaning until the room was spotless. Then he took a shower, an asprin, and ate for the first time in two days. And while the pain didn't go away, he felt a bit of the pressure lift off his chest.
