"c'mon dan," phil said, poking dan's dimple. dan in response only stirred, not showing any signs of waking up.
"baby, you gotta get up." phil said, slowly kissing his cheek.
phil sighed as he carefully tried to unwrap dan's frail frame from him, but it proved to be difficult as the boy only tightened his grip on phil.
"please don't leave me." dan said, clutching onto phil like he was dan's life support.
