You hovered for hours while they meticulously placed the phone together piece by piece. 13 hours later, it was complete. You snatched the phone immediately and began to dial Loki only to be greeted with a continuous ring. You dialed it numerous times only to hear the same tone over and over. "something isn't right..." You muttered silently while clutching the phone. "what's happening?" Bruce asked gently taking the phone from you. " it just rings... No one is answering, after this period of time with no contact they should've been worried, even came back to check on us... But nothing. Something is wrong. How can we get back to Asgard?" you looked at Bruce pleadingly. He shook his head " that's a little beyond my knowledge... Maybe Selvig or Jane since they have more experience? I'm not sure how inclined they would be to help especially Jane, but it would be worth a shot" Banner said almost hesitantly. It was in that moment you heard a familiar voice "Asgard is not safe right now." it was Heimdall holding a very battered Thor. You and Bruce rushed over and grabbed Thor. "Jarvis transfer Thor to the medical room, there's Asgardian blood in the blood bank, fix him up" Tony ordered from across the room. "And you, gate keeper What happened?" After your slight shock passed you looked around and seen no Loki. "Heimdall where is he?" Your eyes searched his gold orbs for an answer you were scared to hear. "something terrible has happened...i will need Thor awake for a full explanation. Otherwise it will be quite confusing." You glanced at Tony "30 minutes and he'll be back in shape." You sighed in resignation. "ok."
