Marinette sighed as she laid her head on her soft pillow.

Since the boys insisted that they'd stay in the tent - as long as the girls were comfortable with it - the four teens had to share sleeping equipment.

It would be a lie to say that Marinette liked having only half of her pillow to herself or the blanket to get hogged by Adrien but he supplied a good amount of body heat so she put up with it and fell asleep within minutes. Adrien smiled over at the small blue-haired girl, snoring softly as she edged closer to his warmth as every minute passed by. He glanced over at Nino and Alya sharing sleeping equipment just beside him and Marinette.

Nino's profile seen in the dim torch light -- which Marinette insisted that was kept ablaze -- allowed Adrien to see him laying on his back, glasses folded neatly beside the makeshift mattress of pillows the girl's supplied. Alya's leg was thrown across Nino's lowerhalf and her tanned arms hugged Nino's torso while Nino's arm was draped casually over Alya's waist. Her glasses, too, were folded neatly beside Nino's.

Couple goals. Adrien smiled, before turning his back to them and rolling over towards his girlfriend. Her lips were slightly parted and her eyelashes fluttered in sleep.

Sighing happily, Adrien wrapped his arms around Marinette's waist and pulled her towards him gently, trying not to disturb her. A few minutes later, Marinette;s leg hooked around Adrien's hips.

Do all girl's sleep like this? Adrien wondered, remembering how Alya slept against Nino. Marinette's head used Adrien's chest as a pillow as a soft snore sounded from her mouth. Adrien chuckled before smoothing out her hair and moving it away from her face. Smiling sleepily, Adrien closed his eyes to finally go to sleep.

They woke up early in the morning the sun low in the sky, tall pine trees surrounding the tent; an object of safety that Marinette cherished.

The boys helped pack the tent away while the girls packed their belongings and they set on foot back to the rows and rows of buildings that adorned the streets of Paris. On the way, Marinette couldn't help but remember the situation she found herself in when she awoke.

Her pillow was a lot harder than she thought it was when her eyes opened. Pushing herself up from the pillow she looked down and came face-to-face with Adrien's black t-shirt. Her eyes widened as she realised that she used his chest as a pillow, and quickly rushed to get up before Adrien's arms snatched her and made her fall back down on top of him with a small high-pitched squeal. "Where are you going?" Adrien asked groggily.

"To the toilet." Marinette lied. She didn't want him to know that she freaked out about falling asleep on him. She's never done that before so it was new territory for her.

"Okay." Adrien's arms loosened their hold and she got off of him, less rushed this time. Opening the zip-door to the tent, she stepped outside and zipped the tent back up. Unusual humid air greeted her. But, it's meant to be winter, she thought, eyebrows furrowed as she looked up to the awakening sky.

Marinette sighed as her legs moved forward, stepping over fallen logs and stones as she glanced at Alya, Nino and Adrien beside her doing the same thing. Casual conversation about how well they slept and if they had to deal with someone hogging the blanket accompanied their walk, making the humid air more bearable.

Little did they know what was waiting for them in the changed streets of Paris.
