"Is there anything you two would like to start off with to drink?" Justin set out their menus, smiling annoyingly all the while.

"Water, no ice." said Otis rather stiffly.

"I'll have raspberry lemonade if you have any."

"We most certainly do." Justin replied jotting down their orders. At his reply, Olympia gave a small giggle, although there was clearly nothing funny about this statement.

"You can look over your menus and I'll be back with your drinks." Justin gave a too-perfect smile before heading away from their table.

Olympia watched him leave before opening her menu. Otis was staring determinedly at his own menu although his eyes weren't moving.

"What do you think I should get?" Olympia was not always the best at making decisions. The process of deciding usually went faster when Otis tried to help her. However, Otis was feeling particularly unhelpful at the moment.

"I don't know. Maybe you should ask Justin."

Instead of thinking that something was wrong Olympia brightened at this idea. "You're right! He probably knows exactly what the best food is here! Good idea Otis."

"No problem." Otis stared hard at his menu, bitterness rising in his chest.

Before long Justin returned. "Water for you." He plunked the water in front of Otis, "And raspberry lemonade for you miss...um what's your name?"

"Olympia." Olympia gave another ridiculous giggle and Otis felt his stomach clench. This date—um, dinner was going horribly wrong.

"Justin, we were wondering what you would suggest eating here. You've probably tried everything at least once, or maybe you somehow know what people like best because you've served certain things lots of times." She said this all very fast.

Justin leaned close to her to examine her menu. "Personally I would recommend the Lasagna. It's a classic and totally delicious."

"Thanks, Justin. I'll have that." Olympia smiled at him.

"And what can I get for you—um, what's your name again?"

"Otis" Otis scowled at him.

"You guys are some of those Odd Squad agents, right?" Justin directed this question to Olympia.

"Yeah, how did you know?"

"The names gave it away." Justin flashed a perfect smile at her.

Otis cleared his throat.

"Oh, sorry." Justin spun around just remembering Otis's presence. "What did you want to eat?"

"I'll have spaghetti. No sauce. Just pasta." Otis glared as threateningly as possible at Justin.

"Great!" Justin didn't bother to write down their simple orders, "I'll be back with that in a bit. Oh, and by the way, there will be dancing later if either of you are interested. We have it for customers once a week."

"Oh! That sounds awesome!" Olympia's face lit up with excitement.

"I thought you'd be excited." Justin winked before strolling away.

Dancing. What a disgusting word. Otis stopped himself. Actually, dancing wasn't that bad. When you're alone in headquarters and turn up Soundcheck really loud, things can get pretty awesome. But ballroom dancing in a restaurant? Not so much.

After a fairly silent meal, the miniature band on the other side of the room struck up a tune and couples began to gather on the wooden dance floor. Otis supposed the right thing to do would be to ask Olympia to dance. She was gazing eagerly at the dance floor. Just as he was opening his mouth to ask her an annoyingly cheery voice interrupted him.
