"I told you not to wait for me."
"No, I just wanted to go to work early."
I smiled, knowing it was six in the morning.

Come, I'll drive you to work."
"It's okay. Go sleep. You worked hard."
I said, grabbing my bag and slipped into my heels.
"Alright. Then, be careful on your way to work."
He said, walking pass by me,
the smell of alcohol and perfume mix lingered in the air.
