Third person P.o.V

Mana woke up at 9AM, since she isn't the type of girl to sleep in. She got up tp up the window. It was a great day; sunny, hot, but not too much, excellent to spend time outside.  She put on her light blue princess dress and went to her mirror. '' Dang. I seriously need to brush them'' she thought as she looked at her hair. She brushed her hair, and placed her long black straight hair to fit with her silver laurel crown. All of a sudden, she Reika, her personal guard, knocking on her door, ''Sorry to disturb you, but your mother has requested to see you in the living room'' she said, speaking through the door. '' Tell her I'll be right there'' Mana replied. '' Got it, princess. Reika answered as she heard Reika's footstep getting farther.

Mana's P.o.V

I wonder what my mother wants to tell me. She doesn't send Reika to get me unless it's really important. I took a deepbreath and headed downstairs in the living room. My mom was indeed, sitting on the couch, in the living room, waiting for me. ''What is it, mother?'' I broke the silence with. I also sat on the couch, beside my mom. She slightly turned around to face me, and she started, ''I wanted to remember you, the festival we're hosting is today, at 1 o'clock this afternoon. Indeed, you have to attend it. You can't just stay inside during this event.''

''Okay--'' I replied as she interrupted me.

''Also, I want you to change your dress. I don't want you to wear something like this at an event as important as this one. Put the one I gave you last month. You didn't even put on one time''  she said giving me a repulsed look at first, but then, a impatient one.

'' Fine'' I sighed. My mom stood up, quickly nodded as to bow and walked away. I have to admit, I hate the dress she gave me and I also hate it when she interrupt me. It all made me a bit angry.

I went in the dining room, and ate the breakfast our cook has made. It was so delicious. I definitively admire her cooking. A few minutes after, I heard some footstep. It's Akemi.

'' Hey Mana!'' she almost screamed. ''Will you attend to this festival in our courtyard, this afternoon?'' she continued.

''I have to. Besides, what is it about?'' I asked.

'' This year, the summer festival's host is us! Isn't it great?'' she replied, excited.

'' Amazing'' I responded, without any expression.

'' Aw, you'll see'' she returned, with a child tone.

she walked away, so I can finally finish my meal. After my breakfast, I head to my room and put on my white dress my mom gave me. ''I don't understand why she wants me to wear this for a summer festival. It looks like a wedding dress.'' I thought, rolling my eyes at the last part as I looked at it in the mirror. The dress is long and  all white, with laces all around it. It has laces sleeves.

*At festival*

I go on the stage, accompanied with the rest of my family. Akemi is pretty excited, but as for me, I'm pretty nervous, since everyone is staring at us, and I don't like it when too many people are looking in my direction. I was standing at the end of the stage and Akemi was beside me, at my right. We were place in this order: my dad, my mom, my sister and I. My mother eventually started her speech, ''Welcome to the summer festival!'' She started, as everyone was cheering at her welcoming. '' I would like to introduce you to my family'' she continued. She started with my father. ''Here, you have Kosuke, my husband, and there you have my two lovely daughters. I'm so proud. So, the older one is Akemi'' my mom said and pointed at her, smiling as much as Akemi. ''The younger one is Mana'' she added, with less smiling. She continued her speech for three long minutes. After the speech, I finally got off the stage.
