"I got my soulmate tattoo last year," Percy suddenly muttered to Luke as he sat down on the dock.
Luke looked up at him curiously, wondering if his tattoo really was saying the right thing. He hadn't received his until after he had died, and when he saw Percy Jackson appear, he was shocked. He just wasn't sure if the boy on his wrist really had his name.
It was pretty obvious to everyone that Percy Jackson was Annabeth Chase's soulmate, but the tattoos said otherwise - not that they had told the camp that quite yet. Percy stared off at the water for a while, not really saying anything. It made Luke nervous.
"Who?"
The sound of waves sloshing on the beach seemed to relax Percy enough that he was able to look at Luke. His hand reached out and grabbed the son of Hermes's hand.
"You."
Luke grinned.
