Chapter 16 - Is Everything Ok?

-Robby POV-

I was fighting the zombie pigman when Emerald appeared out of nowhere and slashed it dead.

"That swords powerful."

"Thanks. It helps that I've been practicing my whole life." I smile.

"That's... great..." Ethan tries to say. I glance over at him leaning agienst a tree.

"Oh god Ethan! Are you ok?!"

"I'm... fine..." I hear glass shatter and a liquid splash over Ethan. Emerald had thrown a splah potion of healing on him. It stopped the withering and healed him a little.

"Thanks."

"No problem... but, what's with your friend? She keeps running away. Is she a coward?" He asks.

"No, this is new to us. She's never fled from a fight like that."

"Where'd she go?" Emerald asks.

"Somewhere over there... I think?" I point to the left.

"Well we need to go there anyway, that's west. Let's just go after her."

"Good idea, Emerald." We hop back on the horses and walk that way.

"HOLLY?" Ethan yells.

"Oh, there you are..." Holly emerges from some trees.

"Oh thank God we found you. Why did you run off? You never run away from fight..." Ethan asks.

"I... was surprised."

"Suprisded? You Fucking knew they were there!" Ethan yells.

"But more importantly, what's with them calling you 'Mrs. Lucario?'" I see Holly start to break eye contact.

"I don't know..."

"Your lying."

"I'm not! I really don't know why!"

"Look, tell us the truth Holly! It's bettet that way. We're not mad." Hannah tells her.

"This is the truth!"

"Urg... no point in wasting time... just know I'm watching you Holly. You've been acting really strange recently, and you'll slip up eventually...." Ethan turns his horse around and starts to continue on.

"C'mon, we gotta make it to DaggerFall."

-Emerald POV-

I'll admit, at first I thought I was going to not like these pepole, but I've started to grow attached to them. They seem cool, can hold there own, and are just nice to be around. However, that girl Holly has been the most curious to me. She's been hidding things from us, and sence I met her right after she killed someone, I don't know How to feel about her. Somthing makes me feel like I'm In danger, but the other half of me wants to trust her... but why should I trust her? Someone who has killer another person?

Mabey it's because she knows just about as much as me. She seems to know what she's doing and who were going after. That weapon though... sliver claws... That seems odd. It's not like a axe or spear, and it's defentltly not a magical weapon like Elizabeth's glove. It's just... exotic.

I see her with a worried look on her face and her ears are bending slightly.

"Is everything ok Holly?"

"I'm fine..."

"It looks like you need to say somthing... get somthing off your chest."

"Emerald... I can feel your uneasy about me. Everyone's feeling uneasy about me." She explained.

"Well no duh! Your first encounter with Emerald was right after you killed a man! Of course he's not letting his guard down." Ethan yelled.

"It's not that I'm uneasy, I just know your hidding somthing, and I want to figure that out."

"I'm... just worried... will we make it out alive? What will happen if you guys don't make it?" She said.

"You guys? Not implying you?" Hannah questioned. I bit my lips.

"Are you claiming that were gonna die? We're NOT going to die, were gonna kill Herobrine, and come back victorious!" Ethan said.

"Yeah, try to think Of the positives, were gonna make it back, don't worry."

"O-Ok then..."

I hear her mutter somthing, I don't know if anyone else hears it.

"Oh.. Hero ...how will you react?"

....Did I just hear what I think she just said?!....

We arrived at the desert, thankfully it's night time.

"I'm getting tired." Robby complained.

"We should get moving. Otherwise it'll be too hot to go in the morning."

Everyone decided to continue onward, much to their dismay. It's much cooler in the desert at nighttime.

We saw the sun rising, it would heat up fast.

"What time is it? Isn't it like 5 am?" Robby asked.

"Yeah, but it is summer... Sun's up earlier and sets later." Ethan explained.

"There's a cave over there, we should rest for the day and continue at night."

"I agree, we all know that we can't handle this type of heat. Especially me." Holly spoke.

We rode right over and dismounted our horses. We had them come into the cave so they wouldn't get too hot. Thankfully the cave was expansive. It had a large carved out area right by the entrance. We took a seat and talked around for awhile. I started to hear a rumbling sound.

"Ethan, please tell me that's your stomach..." Holly asked.

"No... but I could go for some cookies right now..." Ethan said.

As that happened I saw falling sand at the entrance... the cave was collapsing in!

"We gotta get-" the sand fell all around us, cutting off my communication with them.

"GUYS!!!"

I herd their screams before the world went dark around me.
