∞ What Sign Language has Taught Me ∞

This Chapter is actually very special and important to me, since I will be sharing with you my perspective since beginning the exciting journey of learning this marvelous and complex way of communication. Sometimes, I would see in movies, actors acting like if they were deaf. They would use sing language and communicate with other characters. I felt very impressed and drawn to the fact that you can make someone that has the disability of hearing, part of a normal conversation. I can't even imagine how hard it must be to see a bunch of mouths moving, but no sound seems to be coming out. I would be totally desperate to find any source of sound.

But, that's why this amazing Language was created, to make the community of deaf people, be able to communicate with other people and be understood—that was one of the main reasons why I started learning in the first place. I like the fact that I can include someone into something, and make them feel comfortable with talking to someone that understands me.

I created this book, because I wanted to make other people that are eager to learn, have all the information in one single place instead of browsing through all the internet and endlessly watch multiple YouTube videos. I put them all here and your learning becomes easier and a little faster. You can give your own opinion and teach others as well if you have a little more experience. At the end of the day, we're not all pros at this and we're learning together.

I feel so thankful that I came across amazing people that are willingly and excitingly starting this incredible way of communication. I feel so happy that there are so many people in this world with desire of learning how to do this.

I want to give you an enormous thank you for choosing my book. Even though, I'm still learning myself, I feel so happy that you're giving me a chance to share with you all the things I've learned. And if I taught you something that you didn't know, or answered on one of your doubts that got you confused, then I feel accomplished.
