Avery POV:

It was silent no one said anything they were still trying to process the news.

"How could he keep something like this to himself"Damon said as he stood up 

I could tell he was ready to punch something so i ran up to him and hugged him i knew he wouldn't do anything to me 

"Damon please calm down i need you right now"I said to him making him calm down which worked 

"Avery the minute your dad is better i am turning him into a vampire i don't care what anyone says after what we have just been told i am feeding him my blood then snapping his neck turning him into a vampire"Damon said as he walked past me and out of the hospital 

"I'll go after him"Rebekah said as she stood up and followed after Damon 

I sighed and sat back down beside Caroline 

"Everything will be fine Avery Ric is strong he will fight this"Caroline said to me 

I nodded to her since i didn't want to speak to anyone all i wanted was my dad and to be in his arms telling me that he is alright and for Meredith to tell me that the surgery went well but now all we can all do is wait and wait and wait for a couple of hours.

Damon POV:

"Rebekah leave me alone"I said as i entered my house with the Barbie Klaus following me 

"No Damon i won't leave you alone your upset and angry that your best friend/ drinking buddy didn't tell you he has Cancer how do you think Avery feels her dad didn't tell her either so i will be here right beside you so you know that i am here for you"Rebekah shouted at me 

"Well he should've told someone i can't lose him Rebekah he is the only one who listens to my problems"I shouted back at her with tears coming down my face

Rebekah didn't say anything as she walked closer to me and hugged me which i hugged her back, i cried on her shoulders as she rubbed my back 

"I am here for you Damon don't shut me out"Rebekah said 

I nodded but i kept crying and she kept holding me not letting me go then in this moment i knew what to do.

I want to ask Rebekah to be my girlfriend i have been thinking it for a while but before all of this happened Ric told me that you have to take everyday as it comes and take every opportunity that comes your way so that's exactly what i am going to do.

Stefan POV:

I was now sitting beside Elijah we were talking about Ric he didn't know Ric like me, Elena, Avery, Damon, Tyler, Caroline, Matt, Jeremy and Bonnie does but he cares about Avery and Ric is going to be his father in law so the more information he has about Ric the better but i couldn't say anything about Ric to Elijah that was Avery job to do that, i was thinking about Damon and how he walked out of here with Rebekah following after him as for Avery she is still sitting beside Caroline she wouldn't eat anything or drink anything and now we gave up but Caroline hasn't she is still trying to get Avery to eat and drink something and it worked i smiled since i was happy that Avery is eating and drinking something.

"Stefan i know this a bad time but i'd like to take Avery away from here to get her proper food"Elijah asked me 

"Yeah your right Elijah it is a bad time but she does need proper food so yeah take her i will call you if we hear anything"I replied back to him
