I'm tired of running from all of this adversity
I tried so hard to be different in the past
and now I'm as different as I can be
but people, including me, don't think this is a good thing
they think that different means you can laugh at him and pity the odd one's pain
i strived for so long to be different, to try out different aspects of the world, to proudly proclaim the name: "eccentric"!
but all I can do is cry out and wonder if someone will shout back in empathy —
no one has.
