I sighed, flopping down onto the sofa after a long day of assembling everything I needed. Tomorrow was the first day of school, for me anyways.

So I'll be the new kid, wonderful. The shrill sound of my ringtone made me groan even louder. Who the heck is calling me right now? Whoever it is, really has a bad timing because know their going to assume I'm pms-ing after I yell down the phone cord.

"Hello?" I ground out, hoping it was just a butt-dialled call. Nope, I heard Cory Crystal clearly. Thanks for the phone call, not.

"You ready for school, kiddo?"

I sighed yet again, "I'm fine, dad."

"Okay, okay. I won't bother you that much. Just make sure that you don't let a boy screw you over." He chuckled like Remy, the rat from ratatouille. The laugh gives me the chills since i was ten and watched the movie for the first time.

"Seriously?" I scrunched my face, "since when did I let a boy screw me over?"

"Yeah, yeah. Be careful though. Okay, bye!" Cory turned serious for a second before he laughed it off again and ended the call.

I pancaked down onto the bed before throwing my phone into the brand-new cushions.

The ringtone of my alarm frighten the hell out of me, causing me to flip onto the floor.

Groaning, I got up, thank goodness that there was railings if not I'll be seriously injured as my bed was a staircase up.

I grabbed the prepared outfit from yesterday and stumbled into the bathroom to wash up.

10 minutes later, I slid downstairs for some breakfast. I used to pretend I was at Tiffany's for Breakfast and would act all posh and elegant. Something I can never be.

I grabbed my backpack before making my way out to my mini cooper. It came in just last night after my phone call with Cory.

I was so happy that I was doing a victory dance in my head.

"My baby." I breathe, sliding onto the leather seats. I loved it!

I cut the engine, avoiding all the constant stares I was getting, I rushed into the front office.

"Hi sweetie, can I help you?" A lady, likely in her mid-thirties, looked up to me, a kind smile plastered on her face.

"Hi," I awkwardly wave my hand, "can I get a registration sheet and my timetable?"

"Sure, what's your name?" She types hurriedly before taking a glance in my direction.

"Violet Snipp."

"Oh yeah, we received information that you will be attending this college, yesterday. From a Mr Cory Rachkett? Also here you go, fill up this forms and this is your timetable. If there is any classes you would like to switch, please let us know first before you go to another class." She handed me a stack of papers and a pen while answering a call.

I scribbled down all my information, which reminds me, note to self ; memorise address.

I handed them over to the lady, timetable in hand, and walked through the reception.

I made my way to my locker, trying not to get squished between the different cliché groups of people.

A girl with red, fiery hair bumped into me by accident but it was mostly my fault, I was dreaming.

"Ouch," She rubbed her head, soothing her pain, she looks up at me, "Hi, you must be new here. I've never seen you here before. My name's Sierra Conalt." She stretches her hand out as a greeting.

I shook it cautiously, "Does everyone here know that I'm the new kid?" I questioned, seriously, people have nothing to talk about besides a kid transferring to school?

"No...yes." Sierra backtracked as she saw the doubtful expression on my face.

"Anyways, nice meeting you. But I have to get to my locker unless I want to be late." I walked a few paces before Sierra stops me.

"Wait! I'll help you find it. I took about half an hour finding mine. You could use some advice to live here peacefully anyways." She gave me a gigantic smile, exposing her braces.

I followed her quickly, I really didn't want to be late on my first day in High school.

***

"Okay, here we are." She pointed to a locker, 311, going to stand next to it.

"Thanks." I entered the combination, shoving my books inside before looking at the timetable.

10:00 English
11:00 Economics
12:30 Lunch
1:45 Chemistry
2:45 Mathematics

I can't believe that I have so little subjects in one day. Back when I was in Rhonde Island, our school only finished at 4:30 PM and we had at least six different classes and only half and hour for recess.

Which totals up to epic school sucks day!

"Hello?" I shook my head out of my thoughts, turning to face Sierra, instead found myself cornered by two hunksicals.

"You must be Violet." One of the guys spoke up, his face covered with piercings on his nose and lips.

"We're the welcoming committee." The other twin announced, his voice sending shivers down my back. I wonder what else can he do with that voice of his.

What can he do huh! Play dog sitter with you? My sub conscious is being such a rude—
