Mia's POV

I looked out the window to see the downpour of rain that greets my eyes. I let out an exasperated sigh, I finished work in an hour and it didn't look like the rain would stop. I turned back to the coffee machine and carried on making a caramel latte.

"one caramel latte" I called out to a sea of people.

A petite woman raised her hand and walked through the crowd to collect her drink before disappearing into the body of people. I turned around to take the next customers order.

"can I take your order?"

The tall man looked up and his deep brown eyes lit up.

Dan's POV

I looked up to place my order but stopped and looked at the girl who was taking my order. Her raven straight hair that fell just above her waist contrasted against her snow white fair skin, her eyes were a pool of blue, I felt as though I was drowning just by looking at them.

"Can I take your order?" her voice broke my train of thought although she sounded angered at the fact I ignored her the first time.

"Yea I'll have a cappuccino please"

Mia's POV

After he finally stopped staring and ordered, I quickly turned and began making his drink but I felt his eyes boring into the back of my head.

"creep" I thought "cute, adorable, gorgeous creep-"

"OUCH"

I was brought out of my daze by hot water splashing on my hand. I gasped and restarted the cappuccino that I had ruined but didn't miss the quiet chuckle that came from behind me and I blushed.

Dan's POV

I chuckled as she brought out her daze by scalding hot water splashing her hand, I swear she was as clumsy as Phil. A satisfied smirk crept onto my face as I noticed the light blush of embarrassment dusting her cheeks as she handed me my drink and quickly rushed to take the next order.

I made my way towards a seat which allowed me to watch her. She reminded so much of him. Every now and again she would glance up at me and her cheeks would flush a rosy pink before she quickly looked away. I smirked again and smugly sipped my cappuccino as an idea sprung to mind.

Mia's POV

I can't believe how clumsy I was, embarrassing myself in front of a cute but creepy guy. I scanned the Cafe to find him sipping his cappuccino and staring at me. HIs unwavering gaze made me feel unsettled but I couldn't help but stare back and blush slightly. I shook my head and carried on with my work. I glanced at him every so often to find him still staring at me. I wasn't sure why but I swear that each time I looked at him his gaze became more sinister.

Dan's POV

I chuckled to myself, she tried so hard not to look at me that she made it obvious. She reminded so much of Phil it hurt, it bought a tear to my eye as I thought of my departed friend. I continued to stare at the girl behind the counter and sipped my cappuccino. I didn't care if I looked creepy, I'm sure that's what she was thinking but she was beautiful and I couldn't wait to put my plan into action.

Mia's POV

My shift had finally ended and I was exhausted. It had been hectic and that guy hadn't stopped staring at me the whole time, the sister look on his face was unsettling but it was probably nothing. I went to get my stuff and leave but when I came back the guy had left. I stood at the door for a few moments wishing for the rain to stop but this is England, when is not raining? I sighed and pushed open the door and began hurrying down the now dark and empty street.

I got the feeling that someone was following me but I quickly pushed it to the back of my mind and focused on navigating my way around the puddles trying not to get my converse wet. The rain suddenly got heavier pattering all around drowning out my footsteps and chilling me to the core.

"great" I thought "the one day I don't wear a jacket"

I was so distracted I didn't hear the footsteps getting closer and it was only when I felt someone's chest against my back did I realise. I went to turn around only to have a cloth pressed to my mouth and an arm wrap firmly around my waist.

My eyes slowly fluttered opened and I was greeted with an unfamiliar setting, then I realised what must've happened. I rose to my feet and my eyes scanned the room, it was empty apart from a mattress on the floor. There was no window, it was dimly lit by a small bulb that hung in the middle of the ceiling. I ran over to the door and I already knew the outcome but tried anyway hoping my kidnapper was a bit dumb. The door handle rattled but it didn't open. I sat on the mattress and let a tear escape from my eye. Where was I? How long had I been here? Who had taken me?

My thoughts were broken by some footsteps that were getting louder after each pace and a key jiggling in the lock. I backed up to the corner of the room and watched as the door swung open. This person could answer all my questions. I looked up at my kidnapper.

"You?" I gasped.
