The Victim

Who was she?
Just a girl,
A poor little girl

Who had feelings too
She was the victim.

Funny
Smart
Sweet
Kind
Words that described her,
Words she never heard

Boring
Stupid
Fake
Annoying
Things she was told,
Lies that she believed

A girl with potential,
And a future ahead

Told she was nothing,
A scrap at the bottom of the pile

She was the victim.

Alone
Abused
Hated
Bullied.

She was the victim.

Now she's grateful that the words are gone
As she lies six feet underground

She is in a better place

Not aware
Of those who cared
Now crying at her grave

Because
She was the victim.
