I could not sleep
So I layed there waiting for morning
...And I saw youAn outerline appearing
From a light shining through
Forming the shape of your bodyThe sleeping figure
Lying there; still
So quiet and innocentUndersturbed
It was dark and silent
Only the sound of your breath:
Inhaling and exhalingYou looked so peaceful
Absorbed in your own dream world
Not aware of everything elseNot aware of me
Longing for a touch
Longing for youUnclear it became
I tried to move closer and closer
To see clearer and clearer
Thinking you are awakeOr maby hoping you are awake,
So we could find eachother.
Again. But the darkness was too much
Overpowering my tired eyes
Letting me fall back to sleepLeaving the thoughts of you in my mind
