As a writing prompt in her first college class, Adelina is told to write a narrative to one of her friends about when they first met and their story. When she chooses to write to a confusing boy with whom she has an even more confusing past, she's scared that even remembering it all is going to break her heart all over again. But instead, it does the complete opposite.
