She didn't care,
Never did.
She didn't love,
Never did.
She didn't make friends,
Ever.
Why, you might ask?
It's because this peculiar girl,
This special girl,
Saw the world how it really is,
Just a crumbling,
Ruined,
Messed up,
Planet,
Waiting to be destroyed by its inhabitants.
She saw people didn't care.
She saw she didn't fit in.
But she didn't change.
She didn't want to change.
She was so sad,
Poor little girl,
That one day,
The little girl thought,
A beautiful thought,
"What if people could just pay it forward?"
Pay your kindness forward.
It doesn't cost you to be grateful,
Kind,
Giving,
Thoughtful.
So when that girl thought,
Pay it forward,
She thought.
She created,
She made,
Kindness.
And her name?
What an extravagant name,
Peculiar name,
Wonderful name,
And her name?
Hope.
