Chapter 9

Henry's POV
It's like each time I talk to Piper she's giving little hints. Hints that she's not dead. She says things like, "I don't have much time. You need to go to the mountains" and then she vanishes. It can't be true though. She's dead I saw her body. She died five months ago because I wasn't fast enough to save her. Dr. Manyak got away, and still hasn't been captured. Maybe I'm just going insane with the fact that my sister is really gone, but it don't hurt to hope just a little, right? I have to find out. If anyone can make a fake dead body, Dr. Manyak could. I smile at the thought of finding Piper still alive.

Ray's POV
I don't know if I'm going crazy or what, but I just saw Henry Smile. He hasn't smiled in 5 months. Charlotte must have seen it too because her eyes lit up. Honestly, as kids say now-a-days, I ship Henry and Charlotte. Just a little though. I mean they're obviously both in love with each other. It's so obvious. The computer starts beeping with a message from Dr. Manyak. I push the accept button after me and Henry change into our superhero outfits.

Henry's POV
"Hey Kid Danger, it's been fun toying with your emotions the past five months. I guess it's time to tell you that your sister is alive. All you gotta do now is find me and you'll find her." He said. I was right. Piper's alive! My sister is alive. I can tell her everything I want to now. I cry tears of joy.
"Guys, my sister is alive."

Charlotte's POV
"Guys, my sister is alive." Henry said. When he said it, it just warmed my heart. Like my heart became a dark, cold place when Henry wasn't happy. Then he said that in the most hopeful voice, and it was like a fire being lit inside my heart. We have to try to find Piper though. Where could Dr. Minyak possibly be?

Ray's POV
"Guys, my sister is alive." Henry said just breaking my heart. What if Dr. Minyak is lying? Henry would just shatter. There has to be some reason why Dr. Minyak might keep Piper alive though.

Henry's POV
  Where could Dr. Minyak be? Was the question that was running through my head. Then I remembered what Piper said. "Go to the mountains." He has to be there.
"Guys we should check the mountains." I say.
"Why?" Ray asked.
"Because that's where they are."
"How do you know that?" Charlotte asked.
"Because Piper told me to go there."
"What?" They said at the same time.
"I talk to Piper sometimes. Like everyday since I was shot."
"That's why you've been talking to yourself." Charlotte said.
"Except I'm not talking to myself, I'm talking to her, and she's telling me to go to the mountains."
"Well then lets go to the mountains." Ray said.
