⤴︎The boardroom fell silent as the many high-ranking officials sat pondering on a new girl group idea. It had been years, 5 to be exact, since the world had been blessed with new female talent from SM; the world being originally satisfied with receiving a plentiful of boys but fans had become restless and it was obvious. Management needed to come up with something new, something that would draw in fans and keep them coming back for more.
"What if-" The heads of everyone in the room snapped towards the man sat in the corner, all watching him impatiently as he carefully considered the words about to leave his mouth, "What if we add them to NCT?" The curious and intent eyes focused on his every movement encouraging him to continue on. "We could add them in as units. We haven't introduced any new Rookies since last year and the public would never expect us to partake in a coed group."
The man rested calmly in the chair positioned at the head of the long, polished table nodded his head with satisfaction. "No one would see it coming. It's the perfect opportunity to cause a massive shift in this industry." He turned to face his assistant as she handed him an overly stuffed folder filled to the brim with the profiles of their set to debut female trainees. "Gather the girls. We have new NCT units to plan."⤵︎
