A/N Hey peeps! I'm really sorry about all the spelling/grammer mistakes that i'm sure I've made. Every time I update, I always go back and edit a chapter. I will promise you that once I'm finished I will go all editing-power-mode. Thank you so much for reading my story!

P.S. I've made some huge changes in the last few chapters, so if something confuses you it might help to go back and reread some parts :)

------------------------------

I closed my notebook and powered off my laptop. I now had a solid two pages worth of notes about Emma Stone. I didn't feel like writing the essay. I still had an hour to go before the football game. Having nothing else to do I treked downstairs to find Lilly watching Backstage. Which is a very dramatic-with-random-dances-TV-show. Knowing she wouldn't change it, I sat down and watched with her commenting at random parts how 'I'd totally predicted that' and even offered a few annoyed sighs.

At the end of the episode I looked at my blue-cased phone for the time and decided I had better get going. I turned to my sister, "well I have to get going. I'll see you tomorrow." She smiled and I climbed back upstairs. I put on my shoes and grabbed a hoodie. I then grabbed my wallet and keys then ran outside to start my truck. The country music blasted and I pulled out of the driveway.

I drove past all the big houses that surrounded my family's tiny one and went down the large downhill road before turning onto the winding road that led to Davis. When I arrived I had to stop several times to avoid hitting pedestrians. It took me at least ten minutes to find a good parking space and it wasn't even a very good one.

I hopped out of my truck and headed toward the stadium. I pulled out my phone.

Evanline 7:56

I'm here where r u?

I powered my phone off and continued walking while waiting for the vibration of my phone to go off to signal the reply from Evanline. The phone still hadn't buzzed when I reached the stadium. The roaring crowed nearly defeaned me. I sighed in relief once my phone vibrated.

Evanline 8:05

We're on the third from the bottom row on the right side of the staduim. I'll shout and wave like a maniac until u see me ;P

P.S. The dude who invited me brought some really cute friends, ur going to owe me!

I laughed at Evanline's text and hurried to find her. I found her pretty quickly and was happy to see her. "Corina! Finally!" She ran toward me with her caramel hair flowing behind her. I smiled and ran toward her to meet her halfway in a hug. She squeezed tightly before releasing me. "Are you wearing eye contacts?!" I nodded and her smile grew wider,"come on! The game is about to start!" She pulled me by the hand toward where everyone sat.

When we arrived at the seats, everyone looked up toward us. I saw Katie and waved. She noticed me and smiled widely and waved back Though with a questioning look. There was an empty seat by Katie and another empty seat by a boy that I didn't recognized. "So, guys," Evanline started,"This is Corina Sivertsen. Corina that's Jay Fig," she pointed to a boy with brown hair and brown eyes that sat next to Katie. "That's Carson Higley," she pointed to a boy with sand hair and green eyes that sat next to Jay. "And this is Jackson Stuart," She pointed to a boy with blue eyes and brown hair with an empty seat next to him. All of the boys waved and said hi as each one was introduced. "hi," I replied back.

Evanline tapped my shoulder and whispered "Jackson is the guy that invited me, isn't he cute!?" I giggled and nodded. Evanline seemed pleased with herself. "Okay, well, I'm going to sit by Jackson, we saved a seat for you by Katie."

"Thanks." I smiled and she smiled back before turning to Jackson and sat next to him. I sat next to Katie.

"Are you wearing eye contacts?" Katie whispered.

"Yep! What do you think?"

"Well, it's kind of weird to see you without your glasses, but it looks awesome! I'm really happy you came."

"Thanks, me too." We both smiled at eachother before she looked back at Jay and continued talking to him. I turned my attention toward the football field which was full of the football teams warming up. I guess I had missed where they file out of the building and everyone cheered off the top of their lugs. I sighed in disappointment and looked back at the group I was sitting with.

Jay looked really interested in whatever Katie was saying and Jackson seemed to be having fun with Evanline. I turned my attention to Carson who seemed to be just fine with waiting for the game to start without talking to anyone. I then looked at the people that were shouting and laughing in the stands. I recognized a few faces from seeing them in the halls, but couldn't remember most of their names.

The megaphone then cracked to life and everyone turned their attention to the speaker. "Hello everyone! Thank you for coming!" A few whoops and whistles sounded out. He continued making annoucemnets. He then made a closing remark and everyone whistled and cheered. The football teams got to their places. The stadiums were almost dead silent. When the whistle blew the players kicked into action and the stadiums boomed with cheers and yells louder than any other game I'd been to.

I sat up to see better as some people even stood up. I then noticed the colors of the opposing team. They were blue and white. They were Layton High Schools colors. They were the colors of the Davis Darts worst enemy.

Even though Lilly went to LaytonI still thought of Layton High School as an enemy, though for different reasons than others. Having a sibling that went to Layton while you went to Davis was basically like treason and you were thought to be scum. I kept it quiet and never really talked about it, mostly because I thought it wasn't a big deal, but others did and I prefer to being way way out of the spotlight. So I figured keeping it under wraps was the better choice. Only my bestfriends and some people from my ward knew. Even the carpool, which contains all of the girls my age in the ward, knew about Lilly going to Layton.

I was mad Lilly didn't tell me that tonight's game was against Layton. She probably knew I wouldn't come. I gawked at the football game to make sure I wasn't hellucinating. We were for sure going against the Layton Lancers. Even the cheerleader's outfits bore the big L and waved blue and white pom-poms in the air. How had I not seen this before?

I quickly looked around for them. The people that were the reason I never came to games that were against Layton. Not seeing them I sighed in relief and looked back at the game. I decided then and there I would show as much school spirit as possible. Even though no one was talking to me I could at least have fun. Every single time Davis scored I jumped up and screamed with the rest of the audience and when Layton scored I pouted in my seat and scowled like the majority of the audience. It was fun. Though I did get a few looks from my fellow seat members. I had only been to a game once with Katie and Evanline and I had not been this energenic.

Half time rolled around and the marching band came out. Memories started floating up, so I quickly looked away. Instead of paying attention to what was happening on the field at the moment (though I couldn't ignore the loud trumpets and drums) I paid attention to what my friends were wearing. Although I'm not much of a fashionista I always like to look at peoples clothes. Katie wore a ornge and white striped shirt with pants and her blue low converse and for the occasion it looked like she curled her golden hair and put some mascara on. It's so unfair that she can look so pretty without hardly even trying.

Evanline had her long caramel in two dutch braids that I swear didn't even have one single fly-away. Evanline wore a light green shirt with a jean jacket, tan pants, and her hight-top maroon vans. Nodding in approvoal I continued looking at everything BUT the football field. Which was hard since loud music came from the football field and that was where mostly everyone's attention was at right now.
