"I sent the flowers." I say quietly hoping Johnny wouldn't be mad.
"What?" Johnny asks
"I-I sent the flowers to Kenz." I say louder
"Why! You know that we're together. Why would you send those." Johnny asks, I can hear the tension in his voice.
"I don't know. I just wanted her to know how I feel." I say
"Why didn't you just say it to her face." Johnny gets so close to me that I can smell his popcorn breath.
"Because I didn't want you to know." I say growing angrier.
"Why not." John asks
"I didn't want to start things." I say
"Well you done did." Johnny says and shoves me back.
"Hey! I didn't mean to start shit I just wanted Mackenzie to know how I feel. If she doesn't like me like that I completely understand. Just calm down." I say
"Yeah, Johnny it's okay. Remember when I was in the hospital after my coma? When you told me you loved me. I don't know how you felt at that moment but you wouldn't have done it if it didn't feel right. Sending me those flowers must've felt right fir Brandon." Mackenzie says
"So you're on his side?" Johnny says
"No! I'm not on anyone's 'side' I just don't want you two to start fighting. I love you Johnny. I want you and only you. I promise." Mackenzie says and kisses Johnny. Gross! That's not something you want to see the girl you have a crush on do to another guy. I turn away.
"I love you too Kenz." Johnny says and I turn back to look at them.
"Are we cool now?" I ask Johnny
"We will be. After one little thing." Johnny says and punches me right in the nose. I deserve it.
