After our parents died we bought a new house started to act like normal kids going to college while also caring for our little brother Grayson. We done well for ourselves in our own thing. Every Monday and Friday my siblings and I go and visit our parent's grave, we done it for the past year now and we will keep doing it. Isabella and I finished and graduated high school a few years ago. We're currently going to college I'm studying business, Isabella is studying to be a doctor like our mom. Elena and Jackson are in high school, she's in her last year and he's in his first year. Elena wants to study photography and law. While Jackson wants to study architecture. I'm sitting in a bench at the park by the lake just thinking

Seven year old me fallen off my bike after I was learning how to ride without training wheels. I'm leaning against a tree when my mom bends down to my level

"Aww don't worry sweetie it's a just a little bruise and cut. Nothing some band-aids can't fix because your mommy is also a professional doctor" she said and chuckles

I smile "I love you mommy" I said

She smiles too "I love you too, sweetheart. Now there is a first time for everything even when the first time watching your kid ride without training wheels" she said and applies first aid "Oh and the worst first time seeing them bite the dust, all right all done" she said

"Mommy?" I asked

"Yes." she said

"Your a vampire and I'm not. Will I die?" I said a little sad

"Of course not sweetie, when you get older it's your decision if you want to be one or not" she said

"What if one day you want to be human again and you die" I said sadly looking down

"Well, everyone dies eventually, sweetie, but not for a long, long time" she said and smiles

"But what if you one day you die and I'm still here?" I asked with some tears in my eyes

she smiles at me "Well, then you'll be all grown up, and you won't need me anymore" she said

"I'll always need you" I said and we hug

My mom and I are making clay pots spending some time alone because I didn't that much with her. I was 16 years old

"Hey mom" I said

"Yeah?" she said

"Please don't ever be human" I said

She looks at me confused "What are you talking about, Mase?" she asked

"I don't want you to be human because if you become human, you can die every easy. And I don't want to lose you, your my mom, you always protect me, I wouldn't be able to handle myself if you died" I said

She looks at me and smiles "Don't worry Mase I will never leave you. I will always protect you. But the day will come when you won't need me anymore to protect you" she said

"Don't say that, I will always need you" I said and hug her

She kisses my head

I take another sip of the bourdon, drinking it reminds me so much of my dad, man how I miss him so much

As an eight year old my dad took me to the bar showing me how to shoot darts, it was fun for a kid my age well to me it was, it was so fun being with him before what happened which made me scared of him and was the last time I spend time with him as a kid.
