Fading Humanity

The heart feels pain,

       And my conscience is numb.

Emptiness encaptivates every soul,

       In bodies so struck.

The colours of the rainbow,

       Seem to be faded.

The birds don't happily chirp,

       They speak sorrow and loudly moan.

Humanity is now behind bars,

        Nobody cares anymore.

You fight with your brothers,

         And just cry for blood.

Women are humiliated,

         Their freedom is lost.

Relationships don't exist,

          Where is the love gone?
