They should've known.
They should've known it would end this way.
"I die," Kirsten gasped, unable to breath properly.
"No! Not yet!" Elyssa screamed, holding Kirsten in her arms.
The two were on a mission to save the world.
Except, this had happened.
Kirsten had gotten shot protecting her best friend, Elyssa.
Now, she had to go.
"Please! Don't go!" Elyssa yelled once more, pleading Kirsten not to close her eyes and end her misery.
"I'm sorry. I love you so much," Kirsten smiled, using most of her strength to put the palm of her hands up to Elyssa's face.
"No.. please.. don't go.." Erissa whimpered.
"I'm very.. sorry.."
"Kirsten!" Elyssa shouted in agony.
"I love you so much.."
Elyssa looked at Kirsten, who was now lifeless.
"I love you so much, too.." Elyssa whispered, now crying.
The time, 11:00 am.
Sometimes, friendships will end.
But, in some way, they will always continue to shine.
They will always be friendship you were looking for.
Even for a bit.
Even for a lifetime.
Friendship is something valuable.
It's not a tool, nor item.
It's something you hold dear to you.
As it will never break apart.
