We lay in bed, in silence,
Your fingers trace the outline of my waist,
Your eyes are dazed,
You look so fragile,
So frail,
Your not smiling, just breathing,
Your eyes stare right into mine,
It would seem uncomfortable to most,
But it's the most comfortable thing with you,
When I look at you I can your pain,
I can see the nights you cried yourself to sleep,
I can see all the bruises,
I can see your anger,
Your eyes are dazed,
You look so fragile,
So frail,
I remember I saw your picture in the yearbook,
And all I could think of was,
You were smiling,
So big, so bright,
But I could vision everything,
Everything you've been through,
From day one,
And how I wasn't there to help you,
All this damage,
Can I fix it?
We lay in bed, in silence,
And I move closer to you,
Your eyes are dazed,
You look so fragile,
So frail.
