First day of school

A hot dude called Mike came over to me and welcomed me

At least I wasn't invisible

"Hey, what's your name?" he asked. He was standing too close and that made me slightly uncomfortable, but I shook the feeling off.

"Isabella Swan. Please, call me Bella," I said, offering my hand for him to shake. To my surprise, he kissed it instead. I jumped in surprise and he grinned.

Without waiting for another response from me, he put his arm around my shoulder and we started walking towards the school building. That was when I noticed a bronze-haired boy, much more handsome than Mike standing by a silver Volvo, just staring at both of us.

"Who is he?" I asked Mike, nodding to the Bronze Hair.

There's this new girl, and she's hot

I think I've charmed her so far

We were talking and I was showing her around when she noticed Edward Cullen

This was bad, but I knew she'd never have a chance with him

He rejects every girl...

"He's Edward Cullen," I sneered. "The whole school thinks he's g(a)y. He always refused when girls asked him out, even when the hot Jessica asked him out."

Oh sh(i)t, did I just say that? There goes my chance at dating Bella.

Did he just say this girl named Jessica was hot? My face fell. There was no way I could be with Mike and be popular if he was into someone else.

"Not that I like Jess, anyway," he quickly added.
