"But... Blaire... They haven't even announced it yet... what makes you so sure it's you? Cindy has just as much chance as you do..." Lucy said quite pathetically. She looked really confused as well.
"I know that, silly. But I also know already that I won because I am the best. Nothing against Cindy, but I still am the best," Blaire grinned.
Jess rolled her eyes. She couldn't stop thinking about the girls voice from the bathroom. She could have sworn it sounded like...
"Jess! Hello? Earth to Jess! Jess!!!" Lucy was waving her hand in front of Jess' face.
"Huh? What happened?" Jess blinked.
"Come on! They're about to announce the Homecoming King and Queen!" Lucy smiled.
They made their way over to where Blaire and John were with everyone else standing around the stage waiting in excited silence.
