Poppy's been saved several times by a black haired troll but she can't tell who is that troll because he's using a blue handkerchief covering half of his face that's why everyone calls him Mr. Blue. One day Poppy got saved by the mysterious Mr. Blue...
The next day Branch see his berries in his pantry and took some to make a blueberry pie...
Blitz make some funny noises like he usually did and somehow Branch always understand what the little bug said...
"Okay lil buddy, let's make some blueberry pie! Wait what? No no no, we're not going to make a banana cupcake, okay okay next time...i promise" Branch said talking to his little glowing bug while collect some ingredients from his pantry to make the pie
The bug only watching him making some funny noises to chat with Branch while his owner bake the pie...
But suddenly there's a knocking on his mat go away bunker door "Branch Branch Branch Branch Branch! Branch are you in there!" Said someone outside the bunker while knocking it, Branch feel a bit irritated by the knocking because it sounds like a big thunder inside the bunker, but his feeling instantly disappear as soon he realized the owner of that voice, the voice he love so much...Poppy "P...Poppy? Is that you?" Ask Branch to ensure that it was Poppy and not an angry or scary troll who wanted to hurt him outside the bunker "duh...of course it's me Branch! Don't you recognize my voice?" Answer the voice that turn out to be started feel impatient Poppy "hang on there! I'm coming!" Yell Branch before he rushed to the mat go away door to unlock it and let the impatient princess in "what take you so long?" Ask Poppy "i...uh...i was baking a blueberry pie Poppy, now what other excuse will you use to answer my same question everyday, what's your problem to me that you have to bug me now?" Ask Branch back to her while tapping one of his food and rolled his eyes "wait wait wait...you're baking s blueberry pie right now?" "Yes, and you haven't answer my question yet" ask him back while walking back to the kitchen followed by the antusiasm princess "well, i was about to take a little stroll in the woods but then i remember about you and...you're a bit lonely last night so maybe you still need accompany" said the princess truthfully "okay okay, ummm...i don't really need accompany right now because i have Blitz with me but...i could use some of your help!" Said Branch with a slight smile on his grey usually grumpy face "okay! But...i don't know how to bake pie..." said the princess "don't worry, i'll teach you" answer the grey troll
So they bake the pie together...Branch feel something that he never feel...like something that has gone missing come back and returned to him...he felt a bit of happiness and a slight of love...
Poppy noticed that the grey troll was smiling during their little baking pie time together unconsciously Poppy suddenly kiss his cheek, the grey troll eyes was suddenly open wide and blushing hard expressing his shocked feeling, the princess also shocked by her sudden action "oh Branch i..i'm really sorry i don't meant to do it...i mean i uhhh..." the princess stuttered and blushing badly as ever "it's okay" the male grey troll answer her a bit disappointed that she was not meaning it but he still feel a bit shocked and all.
Branch's POV
D..did she just kiss me? She kissed me? OMT i think i just blushed, hope she didn't see it...wait...she's blushing right now...what should i do...what should i do...
Branch clear his throat to get Poppy's attention "P..Poppy i need to go to the bathroom for a sec, wait here okay?" "Okay" Poppy answered while nodding
Poppy's POV
Phew, thank goodness he went to the bathroom, it was seriously really awkward, if he ask me again i'm sure i can't answer him, why did i kiss him? Ughhh...and, did he sound disappointed when i said that i didn't mean it? And did he just blushed up? Oh gosh...
Branch's POV Inside the bathroom
Now what...i can't face her again...i mean, being kissed by your crush...oh for the sake of the great coconut shell i'm really freaking out, but...ugh...forget it.. she'll never ever fell in love with a grumpy troll like me, but she kissed me in all of the trolls she chose me to be kissed, wait she kiss everyone...ugh i guess i'm just being overrated with all of this...want it or no can do it or no i need to get out from here right now and face to face with her, i still need to do the finishing for the pie
Third person POV
So he get out from the bathroom...
"Poppy, sorry if you're waiting for me, and now...where were we...oh yeah...decorating the pie!" *sounds more like a cake 😂* the grey male said to the cheery pink princess "Yeayyy..." Poppy's voice full of excitement! She can't wait to decorate the pie...
After the pie is done...
"Poppy, the pie is done now, shall we eat?" Branch asked "sure! Oh i got a brilliant idea" "What is it?" Branch curiosity increased hearing the pink princess "how about we have a picnic! On the hill near the bunker? Only the two of us, we never have time together like that right?" Poppy suggest while smelling the delicious pie "i...i don't know Poppy, i mean you're dating Creek, is it okay with him?" Branch ask hesitate about what's going on "oh silly Branch...of course he'll be okay, you are my best frienddddd...i'm perfectly sure he'll be fine with it" Poppy answer him with no doubt and hesitation "so? What do you say Branch?" She continued. The grey male nodded in agreement and they set off to the hill *let just say it's already afternoon* "come on Branch! Quickly, in this time the sun will be down really soon! We can't pass the sunset!" She shout while running uphill. Branch trying to keep up and both of them are finally reached the top of the hill and spend the rest of the day together, they stayed there until it was already really late. Poppy was already fell asleep leaning on Branch's shoulder, she feels warm and save in his protective strong arms that wrapped around her tiny little pink body Branch carefully take her in bridal style and lift her to his bunker, he tucked her on his bed and pull the blanked all over her body to keep her warm, Branch slept on the couch...he didn't take her to her pod because it's already really late and the village was too far for them to return...
