Hide in the folds of the darkness amongst her secrets and her lies?

Do you fear the light of the day and his hope and his warmth and his presence?

Her darkness has made her cold and unwilling,

The moon and stars her sisters at arms turn their back on her when he comes.

She ponders and sits while the world shifts and closes its eyes,

And you her child draw your breath and she sighs.

Once more she fades away and dies in his light.

In his birth he condemns her to death,

But for love, what sacrifice is this?
