Luke and I spent several hours talking about various different things. The more I spoke to him, the more I fell for him.

But for some reason I couldn't help but think that I was falling deeper and deeper into his trap.

He was now lying on my bed and I was sitting at the bottom of it, watching his face intently.

"What?" he asked with a smile.

"I don't know," I said back with a blank expression, still staring at him.

"Staring is rude, you know," he said, a smirk evident in his voice.

After a few more moments he spoke up, breaking the the silence.

"So, Yasmyne, who was your first kiss?" he asked me, trying to break the gaze that I held on him.

It worked. My eyes diverted away from his to the other side of the room.

I had not actually had my first kiss yet - yes, I know. I'm 17 and still haven't kissed anyone. There isn't really a reason for it. The opportunity has just never really came up and if it has, I have always tried to avoid it.

"Come on, you go out to parties, right? Surely you've at least kissed someone," he said, amusement clear in his deep voice.

I could tell that he was getting satisfaction out of this.

He sat up on the bed and shuffled closer to me. My heartbeat sped up and I involuntarily flinched when his hand touched mines.

"Go away, Luke," I whispered.

We had talked about so much in the past few hours and I felt like I gotten to know a Luke that no one else has ever gotten to know before.

Although I couldn't help but think that it was all an act that he was putting on to try and get into my pants.

But in this moment, he was perfect. His quiff was perfect yet messy in such a beautiful way and his eyes were like nothing I had ever seen before.

We were both sitting cross legged on my bed infront of each other. He leaned in and cupped my cheek in his hand. My eyes flickered down to his lips and then back up to his eyes, feeling butterflies start to erupt in my stomach.

He leaned in a little more as did I, until our lips were only a couple of millimeters from each other.

"Yasmyne, lunch is ready! Bring Luke too!"

Fuck.

I quickly pulled myself away from Luke and stood up, looking away as my shyness overcame me again.

"Lunch is ready," I said to him quietly without making eye contact, repeating my mum's words. I was still looking away as I walked towards my bedroom door.

As I opened it, I briefly looked back at him - he was now standing up walking over towards where I was standing. I quickly turned away again.

I heard him chuckle deeply behind me before following me out of my bedroom and down the stairs into the kitchen.

"How did the maths homework go?" my mum asked with a grin on her face.

"Great - we got three worksheets done and even made a start on our English essay," Luke said enthusiastically and with a bright smile.

He looked over to me, biting his lip ring as I took a seat at the dining table, looking over to him before quickly looking away yet again.

This term was going to be the death of me.
