Chapter 11

So a week has gone by and hell if we have not gotten sick starting on Friday. I was still reluctant to believe that what happened, well happened. The brain has a way to try and protect you from what is real and what hurts you and I found myself still trying to deny what happened.

But how can I deny that my children have been sick with vomiting and the runs as well as my husband and me. But on Monday everything was as if nothing happened. What the hell is going on and can she truly be in Mexico fucking with us again?

That day I called my mom over and talked to her and told her exactly what happened and what his mom did. To my horror I was let in on a lot of shit that happened to our family that proves that all this evil does exist.

She started by telling me a story.

“When your Aunt Modesta was younger. She married a man and well she had a daughter. She was ok I guess but did not truly love her husband. Then she met a man and it was love at first sight. But she was married and so was he.

But they could not stand to be apart so they left their house and moved in together. Well it was said that his ex-wife was a witch and really mad he left her. One day your  grandmother went to see her sister Modesta and when they were in her house your  grandfather saw something in the pocket of her apron. And he told her to stand very still.

He then untied the apron and opened the door to the house. He then threw it on the floor and a small snake slithered out of the pocket. The ladies screamed and your grandfather stepped on it. He was a man of great girth so you better believe that thing was smashed. But it was not enough. 

He asked for some matches and some gasoline and he burnt it. we went inside and he told us that it was no regular snake. It was there for a reason. It had the intension of waiting until she was asleep and it was going to kill her.”

After their visit and on their way out they noticed that the snake was gone. Left there was smoke marks outlining where the body had been burnt. They all shivered to say the least.

A week later my grandmother was visited by her sister Modesta. She told her that her husband had been visited by a man from the village he was from that told him he needed to go see his ex because something was wrong. So he went and what he saw was chilling. Seems his ex was lying on her bed with burns on all her body.

My grandfather told them it was her who had turned herself into a snake that night so she could kill my Aunt.

I of course was thinking. Get the fuck out of here. But mom said it was true. That all through the time they were together they would go through periods where they could not have sex. Because my Aunt would get a rash all over her body that hurt and itched if they were intimate together.

They would then come to my grandfather to get cleaned so they could have sex again. It seemed his ex was working some of her brujeria/black magic to keep them sexually apart. (Holy fuck these people are crazy)

So I had talked my mom into going with me and my sisters to see Sharon the lady that read the cards. It was there that we found out even more chilling shit that turned out to be the root of all this evil………….
