Zane
"So, Zane I know that you aren't a very big fan of socializing, so I thought that I would introduce you to some of my friends tomorrow" Aphmau was currently giving me her daily advice on friendship.
"I'm still your best friend though, right?!" I asked, getting flustered over the idea of being replaced.
"Of course Zane. But I can have more than one friend" she finished the session with a smile.
It had been difficult for me to make friends as a child, always in Garroth's shadow. Even when I actually wanted to be a part of a group I was rejected until I earned my place, which I did. But Aph told me they were the wrong group.
"Cya tomorrow Zane!" She yelled, whilst running through the pouring rain and jumping into Aaron's car before driving off, with a wave.
I smiled to myself before shutting the door and going to bed, dreading the next day.
Kawaii~Chan
"Hey Aphmau~Senpai!" I said with a smile as she answered her phone. "Oh, hey KC" she sounded really tired, completely contrasting her normal cheerful voice.
"Are you okay, Aphmau~Senpai?" I asked nervously.
"Yeah I'm fine thanks, just a bit worried about how Zane will cope tomorrow" My ears and tail twitched in annoyance as I couldn't remember where I'd heard the name, Aphmau~Senpai had definitely mentioned it before but I'd never personally met him.
"Whose Zane again, sorry?" I murmured into the phone timidly, while hearing her opening her door from the telltale jingle of her keys.
"Oh that's right, you haven't met him yet KC, he's the one you're meeting tomorrow" she said excitedly.
"Oh. Well Kawaii~Chan looks forward to meeting him" I smiled as I said this, swishing my tail about happily.
All of a sudden I hear sweet nothings and dirty whispers through the phone, I automatically go red.
"Aaron! Stop it, she can hear you!" Aphmau~Senpai giggled quietly before saying goodbye and ending the call.
I sighed, thinking about when I could have that happiness too.
"Someday" I whispered before going upstairs and laying in my bed.
