___

The ride back to their home was quiet. Robyn looked out the window admiring everything like it was the last time she'd see it. Every now and then, she'd spot a walker but just close her eyes until it had passed. There was no avoiding the dead but she could try right? Besides, they just reminded her of her mom.

"So, who was the kid?" Negan asked once they pulled into the sanctuary. Robyn groaned and exited the vehicle while Negan followed her with a chuckle. "What? Can't I be interested in my daughters relationships?"

"You can." Robyn said rolling her eyes. "When there's an actual relationship, like I said he just gave me the jacket."

"Okay." Negan says with a nod of his head. "Just be careful okay? Boys are cruel."

"Yeah. I know daddy." Robyn says kissing her fathers cheek. "I'll be out before dinner, I want to wash up a bit."

"Alright, just go easy on the water." Negan reminds her before walking away from her door.

"Will do pops."

She closes the door with a sigh. She didn't think Negan would be this overdramatic about Trevor. There was nothing going on. They met barely three hours ago, Negan had made women his 'wives' quicker than that. Grabbing a fresh set of clothes, (another perk of being the 'princess') she stepped into her bathroom. Knowing dinner was soon she quickly stripped and stepped under the stream of water. She could remember when they first found the sanctuary. It was infested with rats and walkers. Clearing the building wasn't a problem, they had plenty of people to help do so. The problem was making it suitable for living, but nonetheless they prevailed.

Negan and Robyn had the only rooms on their floor. Negan had found a lock and installed it on the door, meaning only three people had access. Negan, Robyn, and Simon. Being Negan's right hand meant Simon was also a sort of Godfather to Robyn. Not that any of them minded.

Shutting off the lukewarm water, Robyn got out of the shower and dressed herself. She brushed her teeth, slightly cringing as she realized her food would have a weird taste to it. Turning off the light she looked at her bed where the jacket belonging to Trevor's sister lay. Well, it belonged to Robyn now.

With a 'screw it' attitude she put the jacket on before going to the dining hall. Every person she passed kneeled and she had to refrain from rolling her eyes. When  she reached the dining hall, everyone kneeled and she wanted to scream. "As you were!" Robyn yelled before grabbing a tray of food and sitting at a unoccupied table to hopefully enjoy her meal.

When a commotion broke out she sighed knowing she would need to handle it. 'Someone's gotta rule the castle when I'm gone,' Negan had always told her. She'd much rather have Simon take over.

Approaching the man yelling at one of the kitchen hands Robyn mentally pulled up her big girl pants. "What's the meaning of this?"

"They won't give me food." The man said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Do you work close with Negan?" Robyn asked looking at the man working behind the counter who shook his head no. Although she already knew the answer, it was just her job to see if anyone would lie.

"No-" said the angry man.

"Do you have points?" Robyn asks leading the man away from the counter allowing the saviors behind him to get their own food.

"No!" The man was getting impatient and was starting to sweat.

"Better get some then," Robyn said with a monotone voice.

"I don't know who you think you are lady," the man huffs. "but I gotta eat something, I'll starve! This whole system is bullshit!"

"When you get some points, you can eat then." She says. "And you better find out who I am real quick or you have some dark days ahead of you."

"Like you would know." The man scoffed pushing Robyn away from him slightly. "You're just a kid." Right after Robyn was pushed the entirety of the dining hall begins to kneel before Negan. Everyone but her and the man were on the ground kneeling before their leader.

"I suggest you kneel." Robyn says with a glare, taking note of her father walking over.

"You gonna make me?"

"No but I know someone who will." Robyn held her position. Her father always told her to walk into a room proudly and stand up straight, and that's what she would do.

"How's daddy's little girl doing?" Negan said with a grin. She held her stare.

"I suggest you kneel sir." Negan watched with pride as his daughter made the man crumble under her gaze.

"As you were." Negan yelled out and the dining hall began to bustle with activity once more. "What's your name?"

"Daniel sir." Daniel gulped as Negan placed Lucille on his shoulder.

"Well Daniel," Negan said licking his lips. "I don't believe we've met, I'm kind of the boss around here, King if you will, and I'm also one very overprotective father. I do believe you placed your grimy hands on my little girl."

"No sir, I didn't-" Daniel stuttered only to be cut off by Negan placing Lucille by his throat.

"Now now Danny boy, can I call you that?" Negan was teasing him now. "Don't be a damn liar, we all saw you." The man was sweating bullets now. "Not to mention the fact you were causing a commotion that my darling Robyn had to stop."

"I'm sorry sir, it won't happen again." Negan chuckled darkly.

"Here's the thing Danny, you're going to be punished," Negan stated. "you're new here, I get that, but these things don't go unpunished. If they did, everyone would do as they damn well please. Besides, what you did, is a god damn federal offense in my book."

"Robyn go finish your supper in your room." Negan said not moving Lucille from Daniels throat. "I'll be up shortly."

With a nod Robyn grabbed her dinner and went to her room. She knew Daniel was most likely going to get the iron. She also knew, she'd have to stand with her father as he did it. Something about, 'keeping their image.'
