"Burr, something isn't right." Peggy sat down across from a dark man with very smooth hands that were holding a fan of cards. Tarots.
"Well pick a card, and we'll see." He placed them on the table in front of her and blinked with all three of his eyes.She picked one: The Sun.
Peggy picked another: The Lovers.
The Fool.
Burr closed his eyes to concentrate. The eye on top of his forehead filled the tent with purple light. The cards on the table spun around completely until they pulled themselves back into the pile under his hand.
Pop
The pale sunlight of the evening returned and so did Burr's unopened eyes. Peggy pushed herself from her chair and gave him a polite bow.
"Peggy?"
"Yes, Mr.Burr?
"Please, give me my watch.""Yes, Mr. Burr." she pulled the watch from her pocket and dropped it in his hand. Her and Philip had been trying to steal it for weeks, but to no prevail.
