Sunlight shone through the polished windows into Mal, Ash, Lena, and Evie's four-course dorm.

Ash had her side with a messed up bed filled with papers and homework. History books were scattered across the floor near her. A map lies on her cabinet with a picture of her and Carlos kissing and laughing on their Cafe date. She lay sleeping on another book with family lists.

Lena has her little sea world on her side. Light blue ocean pillows with a fish and octopus plushies. A music box with whale sounds inside. A swimming trophy for fortunate swimmers shared with Ariel's daughter, Melody. Her bed was decorated with lots of purple and green. Lena was brushing and braiding her wet long hair from practice.

Evie had made herself at home. Her bejeweled periodic table of elements dominated a wall, and her worktable hosted spools of fabric, her sewing machine, an assortment of multisize boxes, colored pencils, and pages of clothing designs she had drawn. Besides the worktable, Evie's handmade dresses hung on a rack. One look at Evie's side of her room and it was clear fashion designing was her passion.

Mal's side was much more of a zoo. The lizard is an aquarium tank on Mal's bedside table didn't help matters. It bore a sign that said "DON'T FEED MY MOM", for inside was none other than the evil Maleficent, who had been transformed at King Ben's coronation ceremony from a giant powerful dragon to a puny green lizard. As the lizard sat on the mini-throne inside her aquarium, Mal stood on a fitting platform so Evie could fit her cotillion gown.

The blue-and-yellow garment, with its layers of tulle and darkly glinting gems, was crafted for a true queen. Evie yanked the dress tight in the bodice and pinned it.

Mal squawked and said "Evie. I can't breathe."

Evie lifted Mal's arm and said,"Well you can breathe after Cotillion." She smiled.

Mal let out a sarcastic laugh. She continued "Yeah, well I sincerely doubt that. I have like twenty more events directly behind it, and I can't even remember what a single one of them is right now." Mal looked longingly at her leather Isle of the Lost jacket, hanging on a hook above a TV.

"Ash? Ash! Ash, Wake up!" Mal tried to yell in her fitting dress.

Ash woke up as the family list book fell to the floor. She groaned and said, "Yep what do you need?"

"Have you had any luck on her parents?" Mal asked.

Ash picked up the book and looked through it again. She sigh and said "No. Not one single 'Jones' in there except for some sea pirate named 'Dave Jones'. But I'm sure I'm nothing related to him. Teddy said that she doesn't remember what our parents look like."

Lena turned with her fully braided hair. "Oh! I think that Dave Jones guy is related to my grandfather or something."

Ash throws her hand and said "See! There's my point."

"That's so sad. Besides, do you ever know if they were Heroes or Villains?" said Evie as she held a measuring tape across Mal's gown.

That question set Ash on the edge of concussions. "Don't know I ever thought about it. Do you all ever wonder what we'd be doing right now if we were still back on the Isle?" asked Ash. Her mind floated to the thought of her friends plotting and planning, crafting mischievous schemes to cause serious trouble.
