Part 8 - Nandos

After an agonising half an hour walk we finally reached Nandos, I seemed to be the only one out of breath. Tyger laughed;

''Oh god how can you be so tired?'' I laughed and breathed heavily;

''Shut..... up'' I playfully punched his arm and we headed inside. Cel said;

''Table for eight please'' The waiter laughed and said;

''Well umm thats going to be a pretty long wait'' Cel said;

''That's okay, how long?''

''About 40 minutes'' Dani gasped;

''Really?! Can't we just all go to Aidans house? I'm sure he has chicken there!...... oh wait, no he lives in Birmingham'' We all burst out laughing, Aidan said;

''Ohhh you're so cute'' Then he hugged her. She went pink and squealed. Aww. Tyger said;

''Nah thats alright, we'll wait'' I looked over to Dani but I don't think she cared anymore. She was too busy snuggling up to Aidans arm. There wasn't any room in Nandos, so we all went and sat outside. It was pretty cold so Tyger offered me his jacket;

''Thanks Tyger but I'm fine, I'm already wearing a jacket'' I smiled sweetly and he said;

''Yeah but it's pretty thin'' I wasn't really listening to Tyger, I was too busy staring at Cel, he had just laughed at something dionne said. He was so beautiful, the way his eyes sparkled in the moonlight, the way his smile made me melt inside, the way his little laugh made me love him more and more, the way-

''Urrr Jess?'' Tyger was talking to me.

''Oh sorry Tygs, what did you say?'' He looked upset;

''Doesn't matter'' I could sense that Tyger was annoyed and upset about something, but I was just too focused on how Cel and Dionne were flirting with eachother to notice. I took a brief moment to look at my best friends. Dani and Aidan just looked like the perfect couple. They were sat cross legged on a bench staring into eachothers eyes and talking. I also noticed Aidan had his hand on top of hers. I sighed. Then I looked at Steph and Richard. I couldn't see much as they were buried in eachothers faces. Richards hands were all over her. I sighed even more. I just wanted that relationship with Cel, was that too much to ask? I instantly felt selfish. Dionne was my friend, I couldn't do that to her. Especially after what she said tp me earlier. I noticed Cel had a £20 pound note in his hand, then the wind blew it across the road. He said;

''Oh for god sake, be right back Di'' Cel got up and I watched his every move. He ran across the road without looking and then I saw a cars headlights, I screamed;

''CEL GET OUT OF THE ROAD!!!!!!'' From then on the whole world seemed to be going in slow motion. Cel turned to me looking confused and I saw Dionne hide her face, not wanting to watch. Everyone gasped but I was the only one that actually did something. I threw my water on the ground and sprinted to where Cel was, his eyes widened and I pushed him out of the way as hard as I could. As soon as I did that I felt the most horrendous pain shoot through my hip. It felt like someone had stabbed and shot me in the side. I took one last look at Cels shocked face and then the world went black...............
