Chapter 8:

That pregnancy test, that fucking pregnancy test was mocking me. It was insane how this sex freak was even thinking about pregnancy. I am honestly in so much shock right now. But I have no time to waste I need to get out of here.

There was a window next to the shower that I hope I could fit into. I have to admit I was kind of scared of going back to my life before all of this because will the cops even believe me when I tell them about this.

I started to open the window little by little making sure I don't make too much noise so he doesn't hear me.

I successfully opened the window, but then I went back to lock the door just in case he wants to come in and do something nasty to me. I was kind of excited to escape through the window. I mean I haven't done this since I was 17 sneaking off to parties or going with my boyfriend.

I fell out of the window and I hurt my leg a little but not too much where I couldn't move. I then started to run off to whatever direction I went to hoping he won't see me through a window.

I kept running in the cold snow but I soon grew tired and decided to start walking. Then I spotted what I wanted to see. I saw a house. I quickly ran to it. I stood at the front door for about 5 minutes I think before someone came and opened. It was a little girl. She couldn't be more than 5 years old.

In the sweetest voice I had I said, "May I come in?" The little girl then responded with, "But my mommy and daddy aren't home." I stood there thinking what I should say next because there isn't much time before Jonathan (ex client) realizes that I tried to escape again. I then asked, "May I use your phone sweetheart, please this is an emergency." The little girl was thinking for a while until she finally let me in.

Her house wasn't big it wasn't small either. She handed me the phone she got from the kitchen. I was trying to remember Veronica's phone number. All I remember is the area code "310" but I know the rest will come back later. I didn't realize I was crying until the little girl brought me tissues. She then asked me, "Why don't you have your own phone?" I told her that I didn't have enough money for one because she was too young to understand these kinds of things I was going through.

It was starting to get late and I was wondering where the girl's parents were at. She must've read my mind because she said that her parents have been gone for 2 days working. I was thinking how awful it must be to be so young and being alone at your house.

The little girl's stomach started to growl and she looked up at me with sad eyes. I asked her if there was anything in the kitchen that I could make for her. She got up and pulled my arm. We were in the kitchen now.

I looked inside the refrigerator to find nothing but beer and eggs. I took out some eggs and then looked through the cabinets. There were some noodles and I found marinara sauce as well. I didn't exactly know how to make spaghetti but I'm pretty sure this is all you need plus some water. I asked the little girl if she wanted spaghetti. Her face lit up and she gave me a smile that I knew was a yes.

As I set some water on the stove to boil there was someone knocking on the door. I told the little girl not to open it because it could be a bad man. Then the knocking got harder and it seemed like this person was throwing their body weight on the door. Then there was yelling, "I know you're there beautiful, you know you can't hide!" I then told the little girl to get the phone and call 911.

I wasn't going back with this mad man. I know I'm not going back with him ever.
