Point the barrel of the gun at me
The gun built from the lies I told myself
And fire the bullet made of the harsh truth
Straight into my soul
And heart
And shatter it all,
Shatter my life,
my soul,
my mind,
my heart,
And Tear me apart.
They were all right,
Friend or foe,
They all repeated the same words,
Although,
I never believed them
"She doesn't love you,"
They would say
Sometimes it was advice
Sometimes it was an insult
But now, all I can do is sulk
But I still believed my own lies
Lies that I said I'll believe till I lie in my death bed
Lies that I said I'll believe till I drop dead
Lies that killed me from within
Lies that abolished my soul once I realised,
The Harsh Truth...
