SHE HAD FLOWERS IN HER HAIR, her laughter was soft and melodic, her lips were blood thirsty red and the little white lies that tumbled from them were just as deadly as her venom laced tongue. Her hair flowed freely in the wind, the rough pads of her bare feet thumping against the ground, dirt and ashes pooling and clinging at her feet. Her laughter came again, one little giggle of God as she danced beneath the pale glow of the moonlight. She was ethereal, a child of the moon who danced freely into the night without a care. All of that would change soon.

( oh, dear child how
foolish you are . )

— ACT ONE:  They held her down

ACT ONE:  They held her down. Their voices just a whisper, louder than the screams she could hear. Her fingers clawed at her ears, marks she could never erase as screams rang in her ear. The moon no longer loved her, the stars revelled in her absence and blue skies vanished as she approached. All life stilled and stopped each time she took a breath and the flowers in her hair turned to dust.

ACT TWO:  Red the colour of her lips possessed her, consumed her and she fell to her knees. When it was gone she begged and pleaded for the warmth and colour to return, it was as if the sun came out at the start of time. Then she saw her, the girl who could move the world but could turn Finnick's into a standstill no shakes nor quakes all quiet and calm. Her name was Wanda and she was a vision from above. Suddenly her broken bones and stardust were pieces of art and the flowers in her hair never perished. Never once did she hears the screams of the forgotten.

ACT THREE:  Empires fall, regimes fail but one thing remains: scarlet is Finnick's favourite colour and she would die to see the torrents of scarlet falling from the fingertips of a lover gone by. To be touched by her again would be to finally find peace, to find the euphoria in the sky Finnick thought would only greet her if she died.
