I've seen the dreary skies.
It's clouds loomed near,
Suffocating the once illuminating sun
Choking, choking for air.

I loathe the feeling of alone,
silence that rings for months.
A one sided love that
Causes me to relinquish.
My feelings lost,
My feelings deprived.

I undertake my shattered family.
Within the middle,
I hastily bind our trust.
Constant quarrels arise,
Love is set aside.
I stifled upon the pressure,
Two sides mistakened,
Two sides seeking pity.

I witnessed a blooming flower,
The gleaming radiance reflected upon the buds.
A dried water streak
As last evidence to the morning's storm.
Peeking through the clouds,
Serene colors emerged
Over towering mountains.
After calamity, a rainbow began.

I dream of happiness.
One with no darkness,
One with no fright.
To love myself
Without uncertainty.
The storm would end,
The clouds would clear
My hope for happiness
Is somewhere near.
