Kai's POV

"Kai wake up!" My dad said I dragged myself out of bed and went to take a shower "kai r u up yet!" mum asked with her sweet voice "yes I'm up!" I yelled back from the bathroom. well as you can tell that I like to sleep a lot but I don't feel like to the guild today I'm going to go and tell Sylvia how I feel. Sylvia is my childhood friend we've known each other since birth I've had a crush on her ever since but  I never really got to confess to her because of her protective twin but I'm going to confess to her today. I got out of the shower and got dressed and went downstairs I quickly ate my breakfast and waited for Nova but she was half way done I waited for a bit longer  and checked how much done she was done but she was almost done I waited a bit longer I was getting irritated " Nova hurry up " I said irritation in my voice " kai there's no hurry " she said raising her brow " Nova-" before I could finish my sentence Nova cut me off " I'm done let's go bye mum bye dad" "Bye mum, dad" "wait don't forget we're coming to oh ok" then our parents got up and walked to the guild with us the walked to the guild was silent no one said anything.

*Time skip to the guild*

we arrived at the guild and opened the doors and entered Mum and Dad walked to the bar as soon as we entered. my dad was the guild master alongside uncle gilldarts. nova went to go talk to rosemary her best friend. I looked around the guild for Sylvia but guess she hasn't come yet and now I'm starting to have second thoughts on telling her my feelings I decided I should talk to my dad about this. I walked over to the bar and sat down next to my dad.

 3rd persons POV

laxus was sitting on a stool at the bar talking to gilldarts when he noticed his son " hey kai what's up" laxus asked "dad, I need to talk to u about something" Kai told his dad looking down "ok is it about Sylvia?" laxus asked Kai he immediately look at his dad " how did u know it was about her" he asked his dad confused " I'm your dad Kai also u kind of -" " make it obvious that u like her to us" gilldarts interrupted laxus and finished his sentence for him. " hey don't interrupt me and yeah what he said" laxus said " so is it about your feelings son for your childhood friend?" laxus asked "yeah" Kai said "I was thinking of telling her how I feel about her but I'm having second thoughts now" Kai told his uncle and dad. " well Kai it's actually better to tell her ..." laxus said but didn't know how to tell him the next bit with out making him feel like he's already too late. but lucky for him, gilldarts continued the sentence for him "before it's too late. -" " uncle gilldarts dad I know you're trying to help me even if she says yes what about uncle gray? uncle gray will kill me if he finds out I touched her. or worse what if both rin and uncle gray team up and beat me up" "and even if u don't tell her now she might be taken away and if u tell her then she might not even consider your feelings and say no it'll hurt more when she rejects you then because she will have a boyfriend and she is Juvia's daughter it will feel wrong for her to say yes to u then it'll be like cheating on him for so it's better if u tell her now" gilldarts said "I know that gray will beat you up and even if they both rin and gray team up and beat you up I know Juvia will have a talk with them about it so I say go for it son" Mira said encouraging kai "ok I guess I'll-" before he could finish the guild doors opened revealing Sylvia, Luna, krystal, Nash and storm but Kai didn't look away from his dad but his mum interrupted him " well here's your chance" Mira said pointing to the group that has just entered Kai looked at where she was pointing and got up his seat and called her name she stopped in her tracks and turned around to see her caller she smile " Hi ka-" he ran up to her and hugged her  before she could finish her sentence.
