I'm going to start with some cliches but I will create some more unique ones later on!

Rin was having a good day... which is how he knew something would go wrong. He was an unlucky guy, things just did not go this well for him. Which is perhaps why he already felt a sense of unease when he entered the classroom, ready for his Exorcist training. Naturally, his training went as usual. No mishaps or anything! So why did he still feel that unease? Well, in the end he just decided to pass it off as nothing.

It was towards the end of training where things went wrong. Oh so terribly wrong...

"Alright class! Let's wrap this up with a practical!" Yukio said as he closed the book he had open. "Demon summonings. We are already aware that two of our students can do them but the rest of us need to reattempt it."

They arranged themselves in a circle in the middle of the classroom, with five circles each. "Ok then, we'll start with Shiemi and Kamiki since we are aware they are already able to summon familiars. Go ahead, and after summoning your usual demons... try and summon some you haven't summoned before."

Kamiki stepped forward. "Me first." She pricked her finger, said her usual chant and summoned her foxes. Ripping those papers she moved on and tried to summon something else. This time she used a different chant. "Oh divinities from below, here my call. Come to my aid!" Once again, a fox appeared. This time however it was pitch black instead of white and had red eyes. It bowed before her. She ripped the paper and stepped back.

"Ok then... I guess it's my go?" Shiemi summoned Nii. Then when she had ripped the paper she tried another chant. "Please oh please a different creature! A nice one, please! Come on, come on!" This time a pure white wolf appeared. Everything, even it's eyes, were pure white. It sat regally. "Um... thank you!" She proceeded to rip the paper.

"Thank you, Shiemi; Kamiki. It is clear you are both very gifted at summoning. Moving on, everybody else please try to summon something. If it doesn't work rip your papers so I can see that. Proceed." Everyone - but for Rin - attempted a summoning. Only Takara succeeded. And all he summoned was a little rabbit-like demon that didn't seem to like him very much.

"Rin? Haven't you tried summoning anything?" Yukio asked, looking at Rin in concern.

"Well, because of my... special situation... I thought that I wouldn't be allowed."

To the side you could hear Ryuji going on about his 'special situation' in a very sarcastic and angered tone. "Why is he so special? Hmph he's just like the rest of us... special my left butt cheek!"

"Rin, despite your special situation we have deemed demon summonings ok. There's nothing a demon can do to change the knowledge."

"Oh, ok then..." he pricked his finger. "Here goes!" He smeared the blood across the page and took a deep breath. "Come from down below up into the light. Serve me, your master!" He commanded. A humanoid demon manifested before them. It appeared to be a he and despite its ghastly looking horns and oddly coloured skin, it - he - looked very smart. He was wearing a dark tail coat. He bowed.

"Young master."

"Wait, wait you can talk?!?"

"But of course my liege."

"I didn't think you could summon demons like these! Yukio!?!" The man in question shrugged and leant back to watch.

"My Young Prince, why are you so confused?"
