Acelynn

This place it does not feel like home.
Home is where the heart is they say,
In that case home is far away.
I hear a familiar voice inside my head,
A voice I believed to be dead.
My body begins to quake; my blood begins to boil.
Leave it up to Acelynn, it's her moment to spoil.
She teases me from deep within.
Life without her I thought could begin.
But she obviously has other plans.
Around the room, her eyes scan.
"There is something I want in that drawer"
I beg and from my heart's core.
I know it makes no difference and feel a sense of doom.
Before I know it I'm moving around the room.
Before I can react it's a blade my hand is choosing.
The strength to resist her actions I am losing.
"Please don't do this!" I beg and plead
But I know that she is in desperate need.
She is so much stronger than she was before.
Before I know it she locks the door.
The razor is in her hand.
Watching helplessly inside I stand.
She draws the blade across my skin.
The battle today I could not win.
I feel a tear run down our cheeks.
One for sorrow, one relief.
I see a tantalizing smile on her face.
I have traveled through time and space
To find a way to stop this bitch!
My bombs are aimed, just can't find the switch.
"Please!" I beg. "Stop this for good."
"Shhh!" she answers. "I would if I could."
I watch the blood run down my leg.
I should have known it does no good to beg.
Years have gone by without her having control of me.
The unexpected strength I did not see.
My battle today I might have lost
but this is not the war.
I have to find a way to kill her.
I will then be free forevermore!
