Chapter 11

•Eugene's POV// yet another time skip- 2 months later// at Ned and Ariel's house party,

I look around at Bean running as Ned throws the ball. "How's River doing?" Ned gave me a concern look, "She's a handful for sure, but she's so cute." I sigh and look at the clouds. "Awe Eugene." He pats my back. "I knew it." He chuckles, I was so confused. "What? You knew what?" I cross my arms, "You're such a dad! Now you are the dad of the Try Guys!" He laughs. "Shut up," I roll my eyes. Have I really become a 'dad'. Yeah I know i'm an actual father, but am I buzzkill? "This is the first time in 2 months I see you outside from work." Ned takes the ball from Bean's mouth and throws it again.
I heard River crying from where (y/n) and Ariel were sitting down. I leave Ned and walk over to the table. "Let me hold her," I grab River from (y/n)'s arms. "How's my little baby?" I give her a bounce and kiss her forehead. (y/n) stands up and kisses my cheek. "Okay, I'm gonna use the bathroom. Cause' I've been holding it since we got here." She runs inside. Ned and Ariel both baby talk River. "Eugene she is true beauty." Ariel strokes River's hair. "She's gonna be a heart breaker," Ned scrunched his nose. "She's not dating till she's 62!" I joke. (y/n) comes back and stood right next to me.
"Oh okay, now?" Ariel asked Ned, they exchanged nods. "What the fuck is going on?" I asked, (y/n) covered my mouth. "Language!" I lick (y/n)'s hand and she removes her hand from my mouth. "Augh. Gross." She chuckles and I smile at her beautiful laugh, that makes me fall in love with her more everything.
"ATTENTION EVERYONE!" Ned yells, getting- everyone's attention. Ned and Ariel stood on the table as I rocked River, trying to stop the crying. "Sorry." Ned whispers. "Hi everyone! Thank you all for coming!" Ariel clinks her whine glass. Behind us, Keith, Becky, Zac and- Erin? They all stood beside us. "Erin?" (y/n) was surprised. "I thought you went back home?" I scoff. "My home is here. Zac and I are official." They share an embrace. "You guys moved in together?" (y/n) and I barley moved in with each other and we have a kid. "We both have an announcement." Ned wrapped his arm around Ariels waist. Ariel grabs her whine glass and pours out the whine. "Were pregnant!" Ariel shouts.

River was sleeping in my arms. We were walking to the car, when we were stopped by Keith and Becky. "(y/n), just making sure your still coming to our wedding, right?" Keith grabs Becky's hand. "Of course, I'll go but ill probably be watching after River while Eugene takes shots or whatever." (y/n) sarcastically smiles. "What she means is, yes." I wink at Becky and Keith. Not only was it gonna be a special day for Keith and Becky, but for me and (y/n) too.
